This week Parafix celebrated the NVQ success of Continuous Improvement Manager Janice White. To mark the occasion, James Anyon, quick bowler for Sussex County, presented the NVQ certificate to Janice at Parafix Head Office in Lancing, Sussex. This was followed by a tour of the manufacturing facility, demonstrating to Jimmy the complex work of producing bespoke adhesive components.
Janiceās level 4 Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques was undertaken to assist with the management of Continuous Improvement and her position as Continuous Improvement Manager was created as a result.
Janice commented: āStudying to NVQ 4 has developed me professionally and personally. It was challenging, but I found the āhands onā approach of project management more beneficial than the text book approach. I am looking forward to fully utilising all of the new skills I have learnt over the last few years. ā
Over 30 staff at Parafix have completed NVQs in Business Improvement Techniques from levels two through to four. The training allowed Parafix to engage staff in identifying areas of improvement, empowering them to make a real difference to the companyās efficiency.
