Overview for 3M™ 5498
3M™ 5498 tape is a PTFE film tape coated with a silicone-free adhesive. It is commonly used for the lining of composite tool frames and masking/bundling of composite parts where silicone contamination is a concern. 5498 tape is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
