Scapa 1100 tape consists of a clear cellulose film coated with a rubber resin adhesive and release coated. It has high clarity and high initial grab characteristics and is used as a general splicing medium.
1100 tape is hand tearable and also used as a general packaging tape. It can be used in association with shrink film as it will withstand temperatures up to 130°C short term. The cellulose film is not thermoplastic and will not shrink in the heat tunnel.
1100 is not suitable for use in conditions of high humidity.
